Welcome to Armed Forces Bank

If you need to open an account to receive your military pay, you have come to the right place.
We specialize in military banking and have been serving military members and their families for almost a century.

Instructions for opening a Recruit Account
Recruit Account Signature Card
Complete the top half of the signature card. You will see three arrows. Sign your name by the first arrow and the third arrow. If there will be a second person on the account (joint signer), that person will need to sign by the second arrow. If there is no joint signer, leave that section blank.

Fax the signature card and a copy of your photo ID (driver's license or passport) to us at 1-816-412-0055.
Direct Deposit Form
Complete blocks A,B & C on the Direct Deposit Form. Once we receive your signed Signature Card and a copy of your ID, we will call you right away with your account number. You will write the account number on the Direct Deposit Form (block E). Take this form with you to Basic Training.
That's all there is to it!
We will order your ATM/Visa Check card. We will also send you information about your account. If you are a quick ship, we will UPS an ATM card to you. You should receive it in 1-2 days.

TO OPEN A FREE RECRUIT ACCOUNT
  1. Complete and print a  Signature Card
  2. Complete and print a  Direct Deposit Form
  3. Fax the completed Signature Card, Direct Deposit Form and a copy of your photo ID to:
    816-412-0055
Both documents are in fillable PDF format and you can type in all the information. After you've completed a form, click the "Print" button on the bottom of the form.

If you prefer, you can also just print these forms and fill them out by hand.
